Hi,

Your Strength Coach & No-BS Fitness Bestie.

I’m on a mission to help you Be Strong—not just in the gym, but in every corner of your life.

Like a lot of women, my relationship with food, exercise, and my body has been... complicated.

I didn’t grow up thinking I’d be a personal trainer.

But here I am, over a decade deep in the fitness world.

While I’m a strength coach at heart, my coaching goes way beyond reps and sets. Whether it’s personal training or lifestyle coaching, I help you reconnect with your power.

Yes, I help women lose weight—but I also help them break free from chasing smaller and start building

stronger.

To stop sacrificing muscle for skinny.

To take up more space—not less.

I often get asked how I ended up doing this- so here's the backstory:

I was always active—fast AF on the swim team, doing lunges before bed kind of kid.

Softball, volleyball, gymnastics, diving, Billy BlanksTae Bo—if it made me feel strong, I was into it.

But then life happened. Some hard things knocked me off course, and I forgot who I was before all the chaos.

I found myself carrying trauma and shame, hiding from the world, and hating who I saw in the mirror.

So, I did what I thought I was supposed to do:

✔️ Went to college, got a job, got married, had kids

✔️ Tried every diet—yes, even prescription weight-loss drugs

✔️ Felt like I was constantly failing, like something was wrong with me

I wasn’t just trying to fix my body—I was trying to fix my soul.

Spoiler: That didn’t work.

How did it change?

Turns out, rock bottom has a basement.

And while that place can feel like total despair, it can also be where you rediscover your power.

Deep down, I always knew I was meant to heal people—to use my pain to shine a light for others.

As I started healing on the inside, my outside world fell apart. My marriage was failing. My job didn’t fulfill me. And even though I was trying to be happy, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

In a last-ditch effort to make money and stay home with my kids, I signed up as a Beachbody coach (we don’t talk about it 😅).

But it was a gateway—it reconnected me to my inner athlete. Then I hired a real personal trainer… and something clicked.

I remembered that feeling. The one I had as a kid when I was strong, fast, capable.

And for the first time in years, I felt like me again.

✔️ I stopped training to shrink and started training to grow.

✔️ I stopped punishing myself with food and started fueling my strength.

✔️ I stopped trying to hate myself into change and started becoming someone I respected.

Somewhere in that process, I realized:

I didn’t just want this for me. I wanted to help other women rise, too.

Fitness and Nutrition Certifications + Education

B.B.A. Business Administration & Marketing from Grand Valley State University

Certified Personal Trainer

Institute of Fitness Behavior Change Level 1 & 2 Coach Certified

So, I went all in.

I was in the middle of a workout when I had the thought: I could do this.

I told my coach.

He looked at me and said, “No way. This is way harder than you think. You’d never pass a certification under the stress of a divorce.”

…Wrong.

If there’s one thing to know about me—it’s this:

When I believe in something, I make it happen.

So, in the middle of my divorce, I became a certified personal trainer.

I trained at a High-Intensity Training gym, and I knew this was the style I wanted to bring to the world—but with my own spin.

It let me make money and be the most present mom I could be.

But more than that, it gave me a platform to do what I was born to do—help people heal.

I started taking clients in my basement. People thought I was nuts.

“Are you sure you don’t want a real job?”

They meant well. But in my head, failure wasn’t an option.

✔️ I had clarity

✔️ I had a vision

✔️ I had a mission

✔️ And I had ADHD hyper-focus and a wild imagination to drive it all home.

By 2016, I had moved out of the basement and into a private gym—and I’ve kept growing ever since.

Today, I coach both in-person and online, offering personal training, 1:1 coaching, and short online challenges throughout the year.

My Approach As A Coach

I train anyone who wants to get stronger.

I’m firm, yet compassionate.

Think: Big sister energy meets intuitive guidance.

I see you—and I coach the whole person.

Most women start training because they want to “tone up” or lose weight.

But I quickly realized:

They didn’t just need reps and sets—they needed

support.

They needed behavior change coaching, accountability, and a little bit of magic.

That’s why I created The Be Strong Project in 2018.

It’s a 12-week coaching program for women who feel stuck and need more than just another plan.

They need:

🔥 A mindset shift

🔥 A full-body + full-soul transformation

🔥 Someone to guide—not just tell them what to do

Because fitness should make you feel better, not worse.

I know what it’s like to feel like to believe you're a piece of literal shit.

To be at war with your own body.

To believe the next diet or plan will finally fix you.

That’s a lie.

And I am damn good at helping women break free from it.

Things I know for sure...

💡You don’t need another diet plan. You need a system that works in real life, not just a “perfect” one.

💡You don't need to spend everyday the gym. You don’t need to live at the gym. If you love it, awesome. If not—you can still get strong with less time and more intention.

💡You are not broken. You are not broken. The fitness industry profits off your insecurity. You are not the problem.

💡You don’t have to be at war with yourself. You don’t have to be at war with yourself. When you stop fighting your body and start working with it—everything changes.

BEyond the Gym…

I have three amazing teens, two dogs, ADHD, a lip gloss obsession, and an undying love for sparkles and 90s rap. (Yes, I will out-rap you to Hypnotize.)

I also have:

✔️ A past filled with diets, overtraining, and not feeling “enough”
✔️ Three bulging low-back discs, a wrist injury, and a love for lifting heavy anyway
✔️ An obsession with simplifying fitness so it actually works for real, busy lives

If you're here, you're probably tired of:

❌ Feeling like your body is a project
❌ Starting over every Monday
❌ Spinning your wheels and still not seeing results

And you want to:

✅ Feel strong, toned, and lean
✅ Do it in a way that’s sustainable
✅ Build something that lasts—for life

If that sounds familiar, I got you.

I’ve taken all the winding roads so you don’t have to.

Let’s build a body, a mindset, and a life you actually love.

Ready to train smarter, eat better, and feel stronger?

Let’s do this.
